at times, it is very difficult for the response to be laughter. but then there are times such as these, when every feeling is a smile. there is so much comfort and joy in ordinary things - in a cup of coffee, kaleidoscope leaves, and walks with the one you love when the air has just turned crisp and you know that fall has arrived.
